Since Islamist forces in Syria have seized bases away from the Syrian Free Army opposition, the US and UK have stopped no lethal aid to the rebels to keep materials out of the hands of Islamists.  I see that as a good thing.  at least over there they recognize that the radical Islamists are the current enemy of the US.  So is Assad of Syria but at least in this area we step off to the sidelines. — http://reason.com/blog/2013/12/11/us-and-uk-suspend-aid-to-rebels-in-north

Rule making inside a political party is difficult I’m sure.  The bigger the tent the bigger the challenge. Personally I believe the rules should be focused on the congressional districts where local parties can grow and flourish at the local level.  We focus way too much of our structure on winning the presdienvy and then find that all our citizens do not know much about the lower level issues. — http://reason.com/blog/2013/12/11/republican-party-to-tighten-up-its-prima

This administration is NOT transparent at all in my humble opinion — http://reason.com/blog/2013/12/11/poll-57-percent-of-americans-say-the-ob2

Gun control advocates promise that registration will not lead to confiscation.  However the practice of law enforcement shows that promise is not kept.  If once legal but now illegal guns are known to exist then the police will go get them. — http://reason.com/blog/2013/12/11/jd-tuccille-on-how-government-officials

Interesting – As people get older they believe that Congress understand the healthcare law well.  Why limit this statistic to the healthcare law. As people get older they realize that congress does not understand most of the laws they pass.  So why do we allow them to keep passing laws — http:// http://reason.com/blog/2013/12/11/73-percent-of-americans-say-congress-doe

Electronic communicaitons should receive the same protection as written communication – How we do that will be very challenging — http://reason.com/blog/2013/12/11/one-more-day-to-solicit-obamas-support-f

Duh – Government at least at the federal level should not be int he business of solving problems at the local level AT ALL – Let federalism work and let local governments solve local problems.  Yes we are a mobile society, but we are not one homogeneous amorphous blob of sameness.  We are different and we are here where we live.  We can see the real issues better then a bureaucrat in Wash DC. — http://reason.com/blog/2013/12/11/47-percent-of-americans-say-health-care

I like this trend.  This law needs to be repealed along with all its entangled sister laws and embedded agencies.  — http://reason.com/blog/2013/12/11/53-percent-of-americans-have-unfavorable

Great quote: “May forces within his Party and the movement that supports it continue to frustrate the Speaker.” — http:// http://reason.com/blog/2013/12/11/boehner-frustrated-with-any-opposition-t

Interesting fact here – Higher attainment in education correlates to support for this law but not incomes – Does that mean that low income PhD holders are liberals and high income PhD holders are conservatives? — http://reason.com/blog/2013/12/11/on-health-care-obama-says-were-not-going

Medicaid expansion in Ohio is not only a bad fiscal policy but also a corrupt political policy as the Kasich supporting Republicans talk out of both sides of their mouths. I will not vote for Kasich – ever!! — http://mediatrackers.org/ohio/2013/12/10/medicaid-vs-obamacare-exchanges

The sequester was working and now it has been breached if this plan continues. South Carolina likely will pass bills that totally nullify Obamacare in their state. Need to keep a watch on this one! — http://o.dailycaller.com/all/2013-12-09-south-carolina-voting-on-bill-to-end-obamacare-in-state

An inflationary money supply can cause impoverishment and income inequality in a variety of ways. But no one seems to understand this and protest against it.
